Kenya Breweries

Kenya Breweries Limited has unveiled a festive season campaign for spirits and reserve brands emphasizing the essence of reuniting with loved ones and commemorating triumphs amid a challenging economic period.

Dubbed “IT’S A WRAP,” the campaign is designed to inspire KBL consumers, offering them the perfect opportunity to craft enduring memories and rejoice with family and friends during the festive season. Eight brands will be participating in the campaign, including Johnnie Walker, Gilbeys, Smirnoff TM, Singleton, Tanqueray, Gordons, Black and White, and Don Julio.

“We’re thrilled to offer our consumers an extraordinary campaign, providing the ideal opportunity to wrap up the year in grand style. It’s about rekindling connections with family and friends and honoring triumphs amidst a notably challenging economic year for most Kenyans. The Christmas season symbolizes anticipation—anticipation for cherished gifts, joyful moments, and celebrations. Our campaign aims to infuse these moments with an extraordinary spark” said Jean Okech, Head of Marketing, Spirit, EABL.

The upcoming campaign introduces a vibrant festive catalog, offering consumers the chance to access discounted prices on a range of participating brands. These exclusive deals will be available through Ke.thebar.com,  the E-Commerce platform as well as social media platforms of the participating brands and KBL’s official websites.  As an added delight, consumers can explore Soiree packages tailored for both individual and corporate gatherings. Each package comes with the option to include a DJ and mixologist, depending on the selected package, enhancing the festive experience for all.

As part of the campaign, consumers will have the opportunity to get custom-made wrap papers which they can use to wrap gifts for their loved ones. The wrap papers will be available in all KBL pop-up stores and every outlet that will be selling the gift packs. Over the years, the festive season has been marked with colorful decorations, delicious feasts, and joyous celebrations. The Wrap-Up campaign will further enhance the overall experience during the memorable season.

“The festive season is a time for gift-giving, and alcohol often tops the list of popular choices. Keeping this in mind, we’re thrilled to introduce a custom-made wrap paper for our consumers to purchase personalized gift hampers, offering consumers a delightful option for their loved ones. Beyond the alcohol selection, we’re committed to fostering a culture of giving back. As part of our gifting initiatives, our packs will also contain seedling packs, allowing consumers to contribute to our environmental sustainability agenda while spreading the holiday cheer,” added Okech.

As part of IT’S A WRAP Campaign, Kenya Breweries has partnered with Tis the Season an annual Christmas Concert directed by Atemi Oyungu aimed at celebrating Christmas moments with family and friends. This year, the concert will be happening at the Junction Mall from 8th to 10th December.

The festive campaign will host a series of activities across the country which include Wrap parties, and activations in select outlets to sustain the festive cheer for the two months of the campaign.
