NSSF Warns Kenyans Against Fraudsters Conning Them Money Over “NSSF Jobs”

The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) has warned Kenyans against fraudsters who are posing as “NSSF Agents” to con money from unsuspecting Kenyans with the promise of giving them jobs within NSSF.

In a statement, NSSF has cautioned the public against falling for the dubious tricks. The Fund says it does not use any “agents” when seeking for talents to employ.

“The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) hereby cautions the public that the Fund is not using any agents in its job recruitment as recently advertised in the local media,” said NSSF through a statement sent out by Dr. Christopher Khisa, the PR and Communications Manager at NSSF.

At the same time, Dr. Khisa informed Kenyans that NSSF does not charge any fees to employ anyone saying that the recently concluded recruitment submissions will be scrutinized and competent individuals employed on merit.

In November, the Fund announced the recruitment of over 300 individuals to fill different positions at the Fund.

Some of the positions include Regional manager ( 6), assistant manager (19), branch manager (15), senior principal officer (28)  accountant (24), security officer (2), records officer (2), principal officer (78) and management trainees (46) among others.

It also registers members, receives their contributions, manages funds of the scheme, processes, and ultimately pays out benefits to eligible members or dependents.
