When You Book Early, You Get The Best – Kenya Airways

Kenya Airways has urged customers to always book their flights early to enjoy the best rates rather than waiting until the last minute when the tickets are sometimes more expensive than normal.

According to Captain Paul Njoroge, the Director of Flights and Operations at Kenya Airways, “Airlines will always charge you more when you book at the last minute because they know that you must travel”.

Speaking on an X-Space organized by Soko Analyst, the CEO of Soko Directory, Njoroge said that Kenya Airways had now implemented mechanisms to ensure that flights are not delayed despite the ongoing raging rains.

“Some of the flights have been delayed because of the rains but we have always made sure that the recovery plan is one hour or less,” he said.

He said that the airline has been making a comeback, bettering its flights and always leaving on time as scheduled to give customers the convenience they need.

“We are a business and as a business, customers are our priority and we shall always make sure that they get the best from us. We may have a few challenges given the complexity of the business but we have always tried to give our customers the best,” he said.

Kenyans on the Space had an opportunity to interact with the veteran Captain who has been with Kenya Airway for close to two decades. One listener wanted to know when Kenya Airways was planning to install WiFi within their planes.

“It is something we are considering but it is very costly. We are trying to see whether we can get some partners that we shall work with towards realizing this. It is a thought that we have had for a while but it is complicated. We shall work to see that it is realized,” he said.

On making Kenya Airways unique, the Captain said that Kenya Airways is always making sure to own their own space.
