FKE Wants KRA To Clarify How Kenyans Will Pay Taxes After Court Judgement

The Federation of Kenya Employees (FKE) has asked the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) to clarify to employers and all taxpayers how they will pay taxes given the Court of Appeal’s judgment that annulled the Finance Act 2023.

According to FKE, the Kenya Revenue Authority is yet to configure its systems to comply with the court ruling.

“FKE regrets that our members and indeed all taxpayers in Kenya are unable to remit taxes by the judgment for reasons that the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has not yet configured the system to comply with the Court of Appeal judgment,” said Jacqueline Mugo, CEO of FKE.
