NCBA Opens Two New Branches In Githunguri And Limuru Towns

NCBA Bank has officially opened two new branches in both Githunguri and Limuru towns to take services closer to the people. The Githunguri Branch is located near K-Unity while the one in Limuru Town is located at Mumbi House, next to the Farmer’s Choice shop.

The opening of the two new branches comes a few weeks after the lender did away with all the monthly fees for their retail banking accounts from 1st July 2024. This change affected existing current account products and new products applicable to incoming customers.

“Our branches in Limuru and Githunguri towns are part of our ongoing expansion plan. At NCBA Group, we are dedicated to delivering the highest customer service at every touch point, including our branches,” said the lender in a statement during the launch.

Speaking during the launch, Susan Gatwiri, CEC Trade, Industrialization, Tourism and Investment in Kiambu County, said that access to financial services is key to economic development. “The new NCBA Branch in Githunguri is opening doors to meaningful economic activities for all residents.”

On the other hand, Dennis Njau, the Director of Network Businesses and Distribution at NCBA said that the lender is committed to positively impacting lives across the country. “Over the past 5 months, we have had the privilege of impacting lives and are truly grateful; for the warm reception we have received.”

According to NCBA, the new branch represents progress and opportunity for communities within and without Githunguri and Limuru. “Small business owners in Githunguri now have a safe place to save and manage finances. The new branch is here to help elevate your business and improve living standards.”

“Our goal is to be present and accessible offering guidance and support that goes beyond financial transactions,” said Tirus Mwithiga, Group Director Retail Banking at the NCBA Bank.

On his part, the Managing Director of NCBA Bank, Mr. John Gachora, remembered the good old days of Githunguri Town, saying the dream of taking finances closer to his home has finally come true. He promised to help the locals get empowered financially.
