Agilitee Appoints Thea Khama To Its Board Of Directors

Agilitee, a leading green-tech and electric vehicles manufacturer in Africa, has appointed Mrs Thea Khama to its Board of Directors. Mrs Khama brings decades of expertise in business and in the technology sector and has proven success in deploying technology at scale across industries. Her addition strengthens Agilitee’s commitment to bolstering its market position and driving long-term value for all stakeholders.

Agilitee is the top leading electric vehicles manufacturer in Africa, and the company has seen the demand for its vehicles rise by over 200% in 2024. Agilitee celebrated its sixth birthday in October in the very same month the Company announced $450 million equity investment from an American investor.

Agilitee is busy changing its domicile to the U.S, whereas the African operations will be treated as a subsidiary to Agilitee’s new headquarters in America.

Mrs Khama is an American who is married to TK Khama. TK Khama is a former Minister of Environment, Conservation, Natural ResourcMinister of Environment, Conservation, Natural Resources, and Tourism in Botswana. He is a brother to the former president of Botswana, Ian Khama.
