KUCCPS Announces Application Of KMTC Courses, How To Apply

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has reopened it’s portal to allow students seeking to join the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) apply.

According to the notice issued on Saturday, November 16, KUCCPS said that it had opened its portal to allow for the application of 20 KMTC programs with unfilled vacancies.

KUCCPS noted that the application portal would be open for one week, from November 16 to November 24 as only limited slots were available.

“We have re-opened the KUCCPS portal to allow applications for 20 KMTC programs with unfilled vacancies. The portal will close on November 24, 2024,” the placement body announced.

The slots include seven certificate programs and 13 diploma programs offered across different campuses and colleges in the country.

The certificate courses available for application include medical engineering, medical emergency technician, health records and information technology, orthopaedic trauma medicine, community health assistant, and nutrition and dietetics

The diploma courses announced by KUCCPS for application are diplomas in health counseling, physiotherapy, community health, social work, health insurance management, health promotion, and occupational therapy.

Others are diplomas in medical engineering, clinical medicine and surgery, laboratory sciences, and nutrition and dietetics.

How to Apply

Once on the student portal, learners will be prompted to enter the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Index Number, KCSE Year, and Password.

Applicants must provide their Birth Certificate Number or Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) Number as the initial password.

After logging in, click the tab “Program Lists” and go to the KMTC programs from which a list of Diploma and Certificate Programs will be displayed for selection.
