Equity Turnover Rises 287% As Kenyan Shilling Slightly Dips

GBP|KES: KES weakened by 0.38% to close at 160.95 (+0.81% year-to-date).

EUR|KES: KES weakened by 0.07% to close at 133.46 (+0.62% year-to-date).

Kenyan Stock Market

Total equity turnover increased by 287.24% to close at USD 6.20 MN (KES 801.34 MN) compared to Friday’s turnover of USD 1.60 MN (KES 206.84 MN).

NSE 20 edged up by 0.33% to close at 2,095.88 while NASI rose by 0.73% to close at 127.28.

Foreign investors assumed a net selling position by accounting for 20.94% of total market purchases and 72.00% of total market sales.
