President William Ruto has finally constituted a 9-member team that will form a panel that will select those who will serve in the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC). All the previous appointments have now been revoked.
Key figures in the selection panel include Professor Oloo Adams, Ambassador Koki Muli, Dr. Nelson Makanda, and Tanui Andrew. The appointment of the panel is expected to put to bed the restlessness that had gripped the nation over the absence of a functioning IEBC.

Here is the Gazette Notice:
Before the panel, the High Court cleared the way for Parliament to forward the names of persons nominated to the electoral body’s selection panel to President William Ruto for appointment.
This was after Justice Dorah Chepkwony dismissed a petition filed last year, challenging the list over claims that persons with disabilities had not been considered for the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) selection panel.
