Safaricom Rolls Out My OneApp Update to Address Customer Feedback

Safaricom has announced a new update to its My OneApp platform, releasing version 5.1.5 on the Google Play Store as part of ongoing efforts to improve user experience and respond to customer concerns.

The latest update directly tackles feedback raised by users following earlier versions of the app, which had drawn criticism for usability challenges.

In response, Safaricom has reinstated the popular “Favourites” tab within the transactions section. This feature allows users to conveniently save and access frequently used contacts, streamlining everyday transactions.

Additionally, the update introduces improvements to the “Frequents” section, making it easier for customers to quickly access their most-used apps and services within the platform. These enhancements are aimed at restoring convenience and efficiency for millions of users who rely on the app for daily financial and service needs.

The move signals Safaricom’s commitment to listening to its customers and continuously refining its digital ecosystem. The company has indicated that more updates and improvements are expected as it continues to enhance the My OneApp experience.
