Safaricom has enhanced the My OneApp experience to offer greater convenience and accessibility for all users, including those on other networks and roaming customers.
The upgrade enables seamless login and access across different networks, including rival telecom networks and Wi-Fi connections, addressing previous access challenges experienced by diaspora users and customers outside Safaricom coverage.
Customers can now conveniently send money, pay bills, access loans and savings and manage their accounts from anywhere.
In addition, One App now supports Face ID and fingerprint authentication for transaction approvals, providing a faster, more secure and seamless login experience.
This enhancement replaces the previous PIN-only authentication system and strengthens overall account security.
To activate biometric authentication, users can navigate to: Profile > Biometric Authentication > Turn ON > Enter M-PESA PIN.
