Safaricom Unveils PATA MORE, Boosting Customer Value Across Data, M-PESA, Devices and Business Services

Safaricom (NSE: SCOM) has launched PATA MORE, a new campaign that gives customers and businesses more value from the connectivity products and services they use every day.
PATA MORE is built around a simple promise: more value, more convenience and more freedom for customers. Customers will enjoy 250MB of data for KES 20 valid for 24 hours, up from 150MB; 1.5GB for KES 99 valid for 24 hours, up from 1GB; and double value on the KES 1,000 monthly data bundle, now 21.5GB up from 10GB.
For M-PESA customers and merchants, PATA MORE adds more value to everyday payments through Pochi la Biashara. Customers can now make Pochi transactions of up to KES 200 for free under Pochi Kadogo, up from KES 100, while fees for transactions above KES 200 will be capped at KES 50 for the next 90 days. Merchant checkouts will also be easier with Scan and Tap to Pay, giving customers faster, simpler ways to pay.
The campaign also strengthens merchant value by raising the Lipa na M-PESA Buy Goods Kadogo threshold from KES 200 to KES 500, enabling small businesses keep more of what they earn as more customers pay digitally.
Customers looking to upgrade their devices will receive added value through data, voice connectivity and device insurance, making it easier to stay connected while protecting their devices. This includes the Neon Ultra 2 smartphones, available with KES 55 daily repayments and device insurance.
For customers on the move, drivers and riders subscribed to Bundle Ya Deree/Boda will benefit from packages that combine connectivity with work-enabling tools, including free access to ride-hailing applications, Google Maps and Tuunza Mapato insurance.
At home, Fibre customers will enjoy internet speeds that are up to 2.5 times faster across plans, alongside family sharing and flexible connectivity options.
“We understand that every choice our customers make matters, whether it is staying connected, sending money, running a business or supporting their families. That is why we continue to listen closely and respond with solutions that offer practical, everyday value. Through PATA MORE, we want to give our customers more from the services they rely on most, and ensure we continue to show up for them with care, simplicity and support when they need us most,” said Peter Ndegwa, CEO, Safaricom PLC.
For businesses, Fibre for Business customers will also receive enhanced value, including faster speeds and built-in cybersecurity protection that helps block harmful websites, prevent risky downloads and flag suspicious activity in real time.
PATA MORE also brings the Safaricom experience together through One App, giving customers one place to manage connectivity, browse available offers and access support. Customers can manage everyday services, chat with Zuri on WhatsApp or One App, or dial 100 to speak to the Zuri Voice Bot.
PATA MORE reflects Safaricom’s continued commitment to creating value by bringing together connectivity, digital tools and care into one seamless experience that helps customers and businesses get more from every interaction.
