Carrefour Dishes Out Cars, Millions In A New Shopping Extravaganza

Carrefour Kenya has launched its second Brand Festival of the year, bringing together more than 30 participating brands in a campaign offering customers discounts, promotions and a chance to win prizes worth more than KES 11 million.
The festival is running under the theme “Deals Kibao, Wins Kibao” and will run until 15 October 2026 across participating Carrefour stores in Kenya.
Carrefour is operated in Kenya by Majid Al Futtaim, which holds the exclusive rights to operate the Carrefour brand in the country.
As part of the campaign, customers stand a chance to win a range of prizes, including two cars, school fees vouchers, shopping vouchers, home appliances and other household essentials. The promotion is designed to give shoppers an opportunity to save on their everyday purchases while also rewarding them through the festival’s various brand-led offers.
In addition to the prizes, customers can access discounts of up to 50 per cent on selected product categories during the campaign period. The participating brands are expected to offer a range of deals covering different consumer needs, giving shoppers more options to take advantage of promotional prices.
The festival comes as retailers continue to use promotional campaigns to attract customers while helping households manage spending on essential and discretionary goods. For shoppers, such campaigns provide an opportunity to combine routine purchases with discounts and rewards.
Customers participating in the Carrefour Brand Festival can also look forward to the announcement of the campaign winners after the promotion closes. Carrefour has scheduled the winner announcement for 29 October 2026.
The second Brand Festival follows Carrefour’s broader strategy of working with consumer brands to create shopping campaigns that combine product promotions with customer rewards.
With more than 30 brands participating, the “Deals Kibao, Wins Kibao” campaign offers customers a mix of price reductions and prize opportunities throughout the promotion period. The KES 11 million-plus prize pool includes major rewards such as two cars alongside practical benefits such as school fees and shopping vouchers.
Customers have until 15 October 2026 to participate in the campaign and take advantage of the available offers, with the winners set to be announced on 29 October.
