According to the Guinness World Record, the official number of children born to one mother is 69 in a record that is yet to be broken.

The 69 were born to the wife of Feodor Vassilyev between 1707 and 1782, a peasant from Shuya, Russia. The lady is said to have given birth to 16 pairs of twins, seven sets of triplets and four sets of quadruplets.

The case was reported in Moscow by Monastery of Nikolsk on 27th February 1782 which had recorded every birth. Of all the children, only two did not survive but the rest grew to maturity.

As people increasingly keep off children through family planning due to the skyrocketing cost of living, one woman in Uganda might just break the record that was set in 1707.

Mariam Nabatanzi from Kabimbiri village in Uganda is 38 years old and already has 44 children including four sets of triplets, three sets of quadruplets and twins aged between a year and 24 years old.

The woman was married when she was 13 years old and bore 44 kids. 38 of them are alive while six died. Just so you, all the 44 kids have the same father.
