Over 360 Dead, 17,000 Test Positive As Coronavirus Spreads Like Wild Fire

360 deaths have been confirmed in China since the Coronavirus outbreak began with the numbers running high in a scary manner.

The spike in the number of deaths has fueled concerns Worldwide as countries begin exercises to shut their borders to people traveling from China which sadly leaves the Chinese Country on its own in combat the deadly virus.

China already imposed a lockdown on a major city far from Hubei with the first fatality outside the Asian country reported in the Philippines.

56 deaths have been reported in Hubei, hundreds in Wuhan, one reported in the southwestern megalopolis of Chongqing among other cities in China.

Over 360 deaths pass the last number of fatalities witnessed in a previous Corona Virus outbreak between 2002 and 2003.

Measures Taken To Contain The Corona Virus Spread

Kenya Airways halted all its flights to China following the Coronavirus outbreak on 31st January 2020 but insisted that it would continue flying to Bangkok which is Thailand.

Bangkok, which Kenya Airways continues to fly to has also reported cases of Coronavirus and is open to receiving those traveling from China as the screening process is heightened at the airports.

17,200 people have been confirmed to be carrying the Coronavirus in China and 24 other Countries.

Thailand, where Kenya Airways continues to fly into has reported 19 cases of the Coronavirus with a majority of the infections being detected from people who had recently toured Wuhan or Hubei in China.

A good example of a carried Coronavirus infection is the case of the 44-year-old Philippine man who had got the infection while in Wuhan and traveled to the Philippine only to die a few days after arrival according to WHO.

The Coronavirus is believed to have been transferred to humans from animals I an animal market in Wuhan China.

China has sealed in 50 million people in Wuhan who are not allowed to travel out in its attempt to avoid the Coronavirus spread.
