Free Pornhub Premium Introduced to Encourage People to Stay Home

World’s leading porn site, PornHub is encouraging people around the world to stay home due to the spread of COVID-19 after announcing that its premium subscription would now be free for everyone worldwide.

The adult site had offered free subscriptions in Italy, Spain, and France but decided to extend the offer the everyone else across the world after infections of the virus were reported to spread rapidly.

“Help Flatten the Curve. Pornhub is encouraging people around the world to stay home to help flatten the Coronavirus curve by self-isolating with FREE Premium!” read the statement on Pornhub’s site.

The company said it’s extending the free Pornhub premium support, which unlocks select content to everyone across the world until April 23.

“With nearly one billion people in lockdown across the world because of the coronavirus pandemic, it’s important that we lend a hand and provide them with an enjoyable way to pass the time. We hope by expanding our offer of free Pornhub Premium worldwide, people have an extra incentive to stay home and flatten the curve,” said Corey Price, Vice President of Pornhub

In 2019 alone, Pornhub received a total of 42 billion visits. This means that a Pornbub received 115 million visits per day. Putting these numbers into perspective, it is the same as almost everyone in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania visiting the site at the same time.
