59-Year-Old And Above Civil Servants To Work From Home

President Uhuru Kenyatta has directed that all civil servants who are 58 years and above to work remotely to protect them from the Covid-19 pandemic. President Kenyatta says the move is to protect the vulnerable from the pandemic.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has also directed all cabinet secretaries and other officials to scale down on all public engagement and holding meetings to cut down on the spread of Covid-19.

At the same time, President Uhuru Kenyatta has banned all political gatherings for a period of 60 days starting immediately. He says those wishing to hold political meetings will be required to do so in townhalls and to ensure that those present have masks and observe the social distance.
