The annual event allows Kenyans to learn and engage with homegrown products and services primarily by Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SME’s).
The Annual Made in Kenya Extravaganza Expo is set to be held in Kenya at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) from 20th to 22nd January, 2022.
The much-anticipated event provides an opportunity for Kenyans to learn and engage in homegrown products and services primarily by Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SME’s).
It also offers a great chance for the participants to identify and leverage opportunities for skills development and access to financing from both private and public sector players.
In a nutshell, the Made in Kenya Extravaganza Expo will provide a consumer-trade platform where local businesses involved in the production of homegrown goods can sell and generate revenue.
Through the Exo, Kenyans come together to support the companies developing the Kenyan brands, particularly the SMEs, which constitute 98 percent of all registered businesses.

With such a critical role in the economy, these SMEs contribute 33 percent to Kenya’s GDP, employ over 30 percent of Kenya’s youthful population, and they account for 83.6 percent of new jobs.
This year’s edition has so much to offer with a wide variety of exhibitors showcasing numerous Made in Kenya products.
There will also be free SME digital training facilitated by Google. The tech giant is one of the sponsors of this year’s event. Moreover, participants will get a chance to discuss matters SME with top industry leaders during the scheduled plenary sessions not to mention reaping much-desired knowledge from the entrepreneurship masterclass by industry captains.
Other sponsors are Tononoka Steel, East African Educational Publishers, Multichoice, Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency (KEPROBA).
It is time to bring our stories together as we join the many hands one direction mantra for all that is good about Kenya. Best of all is that DJ UV will be on entertainment for the duration of the event, and there will be a food festival with a variety of Kenyan cuisines!
