Is DP William Ruto Really Eying the 2022 Presidential Seat?
KEY POINTS
The uniformed notion being peddled by some bloggers that Ruto has lost direction is misguided. Ruto Is preparing for 2027.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
Ruto has defied nature. He has gone ahead to openly defy his own boss. Do you think he’s ignorant of the consequences?
Political analysts have listed Deputy President William Ruto as a smart politician. A lot informs this analysis and it requires a third eye for one to really figure out what Ruto is up to come August 2022.
Ruto has defied nature. He has gone ahead to openly defy his own boss. Do you think he’s ignorant of the consequences? You are wrong. Yes! You are indeed in obscurity in matters of politics if you think that Ruto is ignorant.
By openly standing against his boss, he knows that it has already cost him the presidency. That’s a fact. He has already messed up everything and there is no two ways about it. Chances of him ascending to power in the August 2022 general elections are very minimal. I am not saying that Ruto has no numbers. Don’t misconstrue me. He has almost all it takes to win the presidency. However, he only did one mistake that messed up everything. What is it?
They say power is sweet. And that when power gets into your head, you tend to forget who you are. This is what has eaten into Ruto’s chances of ascending to the statehouse. He forgot that he was only a co-principal to the Commander in chief and not a co-president. His lieutenants like Oscar Sudi, Ndindi Nyoro, Alice Wahome among others, made it even worse when they decided to openly Draw battlelines with the president just to please Ruto. Funny enough, the DP did not tame them.

What exactly is Ruto up to? The recent political maneuvers inform a lot of what Ruto is up to. Why is he not willing to work with small parties and insists that those who want to work with him should join his UDA party? Why is he against the coalition amendment bill? Why is he carrying out so many rallies traversing across the whole country urging Kenyans to support his UDA party candidates?
The DP has hinted that UDA will field candidates in every elective position across the country. Why has he refused to work with small parties from the Mt. Kenya region? It’s simple, Ruto is aware that his chances of becoming present in 2022 are very minimal. He knows Uhuru and Raila are planning to frustrate him after the August polls. He’s therefore preparing to control parliament and the county assemblies.
The uniformed notion being peddled by some bloggers that Ruto has lost direction is misguided. Ruto Is preparing for 2027.
