TSC To Give The Following Teachers First Priority In July Mass Recruitment

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is the independent body that is mandated to hire, remunerate and promote qualified teachers across the country.

TSC is priming itself to employ over 13,000 teachers in the month of July. Most of these teachers will go to primary schools to fill the void left by upgrading teachers who were deployed to secondary schools. Below is a roadmap to ahead of the recruitment exercise.

The TSC has gone ahead and released the scoresheet for the employment exercise. Some groups of the unemployed teachers will benefit big if the recently released scoresheet is anything to go by.

The Government through the Ministry of Education headed by professor George Magoha has been allocating money to ensure that TSC recruits enough staff to help solve the teacher challenge that has been facing most schools

The Commission led by Dr. Nancy Macharia as the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) has also worked hard to see schools well equipped with relevant manpower.

In the recent advertisement, TSC declared that it will advertise positions to be filled by over 6,000teachers to serve on permanent terms in both primary and secondary schools which has now been officially Advertised.

PTE teachers who are undergoing upgrading in various Teachers Training Colleges, TTC, will also have an upper hand in the next TSC mass recruitment. Those with a master’s degree will advantage of 5 marks above the rest. Those with disability were not left behind either. Their 10 marks are contacted.

The exercise has kicked off and once done and completed they will be posted to their new workstations. TSC has highlighted categories of teachers who are likely to be given the first priority in the upcoming July recruitment.
