USD|KES: KES weakened by 0.01% to close at 129.29 (17.37% year-to-date).

GBP|KES: KES weakened by 0.35% to close at 164.23 (17.81% year-to-date).

EUR|KES: KES weakened by 0.18% to close at 135.77 (21.87% year-to-date).

Kenyan Stock Market

Total equity turnover increased by 60 fold to close at USD 72.56 MN (KES 9.38 BN) compared to yesterday’s turnover of USD 1.18 MN (KES 152.48 MN).

NSE 20 eased by 0.41% to close at 1,880.62 while NASI rose by 0.28% to close at 120.31.

Foreign investors assumed a net selling position by accounting for 2.67% of total market purchases and 5.63% of total market sales.
