Stanbic Bank Kenya Commits Ksh 1 Million to Rhino Charge 2025 Conservation Efforts

Stanbic Bank Kenya has announced a KES 1 million sponsorship towards the 2025 Rhino Charge, reinforcing its commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development.
The sponsorship will support the Rhino Ark Charitable Trust, which focuses on protecting Kenya’s vital ecosystems through initiatives like forest and water tower conservation.
Speaking during the sponsorship announcement, Stanbic Bank Kenya and South Sudan Chief Executive, Joshua Oigara, emphasized that sustainability is a key priority in the bank’s operations. “We believe that business growth must go hand in hand with environmental responsibility.
Rhino Charge provides a unique platform to raise awareness, rally support, and drive tangible impact in preserving our natural heritage,” he noted.
This partnership complements Stanbic Bank’s broader environmental agenda, which includes green financing, renewable energy investments, and advocacy for climate-conscious business practices.
As Kenya continues to face climate-related challenges, the bank’s support for Rhino Charge reflects a long-term commitment to securing the country’s natural assets for future generations.
