NSE In Focus: Centum Investments Company Emerges as Top Gainer of the Day
Centum Investments Company was the top gainer of the day with 10.00 percent at the price of 27.50 shillings per share followed by Sameer Africa with 9.30 percent at the price of 2.35 shillings per share.
Eveready East Africa, Home Afrika, and Unga Group gained 7.41, 7.14 and 3.80 percent at the price of 1.45, 0.75 and 41.00 shillings per share respectively.
Kapchorua Tea Kenya, National Bank, and HF Group lost 9.46, 9.09 and 8.77 percent at the price of 67.00, 4.50 and 5.20 shillings per share while Liberty Kenya and Trans-Century lost 8.46 and 8.33 percent at the price of 11.90 and 2.75 shillings per share respectively.
Safaricom Plc was the top mover of the day after selling 4.66 million shares followed by Carbacid Investments and Kenya Commercial Bank who sold 2.93 and 1.89 million shares respectively.
WPP ScanGroup sold 1.51 million shares while Kenya Electricity Generating Company sold 428,800 shares.
