Olympia Capital Emerges as Top Gainer of the Day at the NSE

The top gainer of the day was Olympia Capital with 10.00 percent at the price of 2.75 shillings per share followed by Home Afrika with 9.62 percent at the price of 0.57 shillings per share.

Standard Group gained 8.00 percent at the price of 27.00 shillings per share while Longhorn Publishers and Flame Tree Group followed with 6.48 and 6.38 percent at the price of 6.90 and 2.50 shillings per share respectively.

Kapchorua Tea Kenya was the top loser of the with 9.93 percent at the price of 68.00 shillings per share followed by National Bank with a loss of 9.16 percent at the price of 4.56 shillings per share.

Mumias Sugar Company, Kenya Airways, and Uchumi Supermarket lost 8.93, 8.73 and 6.78 percent at the price of 0.51, 5.02 and 0.55 shillings per share respectively.

Safaricom sold 12.84 million shares to emerge as the top mover of the day followed by Kenya Commercial Bank who sold 6.55 million shares.

Equity Group and Kenya Airways sold 4.61 and 1.35 million shares respectively while Kenya Power and Lighting Company sold 386,300 shares.
