Eugine Wamalwa Moved To Defense, Keter Goes To Devolution

KEY POINTS

CS Eugine Wamalwa has been named the new Defence Cabinet Secretary from Devolution. Monica Juma was moved from the Defence Ministry to the Ministry of Energy. 

President Uhuru Kenyatta has reshuffled his Cabinet at last. There were talks of an imminent reshuffle but all had died down. Uhuru has moved several CSs as well as Principal Secretaries.

CS Eugine Wamalwa has been named the new Defence Cabinet Secretary from Devolution. Monica Juma was moved from the Defence Ministry to the Ministry of Energy. Charles Keter replaced Wamalwa as the new Devolution Cabinet Secretary.

At the same time, Gordon O. Kihalangwa was named the new State Department for Energy PS. Joseph K. Njoroge has been named the new State Department for Transport PS while Solomon Kitungu was named the new State Department for Public Works PS.
