49 Crops You Can Plant In Karachuonyo, Homabay County

For years, the main agricultural activity in Homabay County has been fishing. Most residents in the county take part in fishing practices, either from Lake Victoria or through fish farming. But a walk through the county will prove that there are so many opportunities in crop farming.

We took a trip across Homabay last week, specifically in Karachuonyo to find out the type of crops that do well in the area. Combined with our online research and conversation with farmers on the ground, we established that at least 49 crops do well in this area.
