Popular stand-up comedian and TV host, Steve Harvey is the talk of the town today, 2nd January 2020, after responding to an artist from Kenya who made a pencil portrait of him.

Self-taught pencil artist, Collins Omondi Okello, posted on his Twitter account a pencil drawing of Steve  Harvey and tagged him asking if he could buy the portrait.

The Twitter post blew up, getting hundreds of retweets and thousands of likes, and hours later, Mr. Harvey quoted Collins’ tweet asking him to ‘hook up’ since he would be travelling to Johannesburg and Botswana soon.

Collins Omondi then replied to him explaining that he was in Nairobi, Kenya and went ahead to invite him for a Safari and in the process present the portrait to him.

“If possible, I would be proud to invite you over to Kenya for a Safari to experience #MagicalKenya as I present this portrait! How do I reach you?” Collins replied in a tweet.

Steve then replied to the artist telling him that a member of his team would message him.

Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) have congratulated Collins for being recognized by Steve and for his good art.

On a lighter note, KOT have criticized and made fun of Steve Harvey for thinking Johannesburg and Nairobi are in the same country and casually asking Collins to meet up.
