NCBA Kicks Off 2025 NCBA Johari Awards In Coast Region

NCBA Bank, on Thursday, 9th October, unveiled their 2025 Johari Awards event series with the first event hosted in the Coast Region, marking the beginning of a national celebration of motor vehicle dealers and insurance broker agents.
Celebrating nearly two decades of excellence, this year marks the 19th edition of the NCBA Johari Awards. Over the years, the Awards have evolved into a premier platform that recognizes the outstanding contribution of vehicle and movable machinery dealerships to Kenya’s economy. The milestone underscores NCBA’s unwavering consistency, growth, and dedication to nurturing strong industry partnerships. It also reflects NCBA’s market leadership in Asset Finance, where the Bank continues to command more than a third of the Kenyan market, with strong support from dealer partners. Beyond Asset Finance, NCBA maintains a leading position in Corporate Banking, cementing its role as a trusted partner for businesses and corporations across the region.
As one of NCBA’s most significant annual platforms, the Johari Awards continue to strengthen industry ties, celebrate innovation, and highlight the Bank’s enduring commitment to shaping the future of Asset Finance in Kenya and beyond.
Speaking on the launch of the 2025 NCBA Johari Awards, NCBA Group Director, Asset Finance and Business Solutions, Lennox Mugambi said: “The Johari Awards are more than a rewards forum. They reflect the Bank’s desire to forge closer connections, inspire industry transformation and celebrate the individuals who drive it. Through these awards, NCBA continues to reinforce its position as the Home of Asset Finance, an institution that not only provides financial solutions but also nurtures long-term business relationships that sustain growth.”
The Coastal Region launch in Mombasa marks the first in a nationwide series of nine NCBA Johari Awards ceremonies this year. The 2025 NCBA Johari Awards circuit will continue with regional events in Kisii, Kisumu, Eldoret, Nakuru, Nyeri / Karatina, Meru, and Thika, before culminating in a grand finale in Nairobi this December. Each event is designed to bring NCBA’s valued partners together, celebrate their contributions, and create space for new partnerships and ideas. This is anchored on NCBA’s belief that Asset Finance goes beyond financing. It is about creating ecosystems that enable innovation, customer success, and prosperity for all.
Through the NCBA Johari Awards, NCBA reinforces its leadership in Asset Finance while strengthening its role as a trusted partner in Corporate and Business Banking. The Bank continues to shape industry standards, inspire performance, and deliver financial solutions that empower individuals, businesses, and communities.
