Eveready East Africa Emerges Top Gainer at the NSE

At the Nairobi Security Exchange, Eveready East Africa emerged as the top gainer of the day. The company gained 8.51 percent at the price of 2.55 shillings per share followed by NIC Bank with a gain of 7.36 percent at the price of 35.25 shillings per share.

Longhorn Kenya came in third with 6.19 percent at the price of 5.15 shillings per share. TPS Eastern Africa and CIC Insurance Group gained 5.56 and 4.88 percent respectively at the price of 19.00 and 4.30 shillings per share respectively.

E.A. Portland Cement was the top loser of the day. The company lost 6.48 percent at the price of 25.25 shillings per share.

ARM Cement and Standard Chartered Bank lost 6.45 and 5.41 percent respectively at the price of 29.00 and 175.00 shillings per share respectively.

Sameer Africa and Deacons (East Africa) closed the top five losers of the day on Monday with 3.33 and 3.10 percent respectively at the price of 2.90 and 6.25 shillings per share respectively.
