Telkom Extends its Free Data Offer on WhatsApp and 4G

Telkom Kenya is extending its free data offer on WhatsApp and 4G until 31st October 2017 for their pre-paid customers to surf without having to worry.

The move comes as a way of ensuring that Telkom customers are able to enjoy more services that are free of charge from the telecom company.

Even with the extension, the telecom company had disclosed that terms and conditions of service are going to remain as they have been, meaning that an individual need to have at least one shillings in their main account.

The free 4G offer, on the other hand, comes along with the following requirements:

1.4G device.

2.The device must be configured to transmit on 4G.

3.Have a 4G ready SIM.

4.Be in a 4G covered area.

5.Must have subscribed to and must have an active data bundle.

The offer allows the Telkom Pre-paid customer FREE WhatsApp, every day. To subscribe, one ought to Dial *544#. FREE Whatsapp offer is an innovative service from Telkom enabling their customers to enjoy WhatsApp for FREE all day and night

With the extension, customers can now call, chat, share videos on Whatsapp using the free data awarded every day.

By subscribing to the Telkom Free WhatsApp product, one is entitled to an additional Free 50MB data bundle that they can use daily from 6am to 8am.
