New Chief Executive Takes Over at CfC Stanbic Bank

The Central Bank of Kenya has approved the appointment of Mr Philip Odera as the Chief Executive of CfC Stanbic Bank.

Mr Odera takes over from Mr Greg Brackenridge who will take up the position of Regional Chief Executive East Africa currently held by Kitili Mbathi. Mr Mbathi becomes the Standard Bank Group’s East Africa Regional Director.

Philip Odera was until his appointment the Managing Director of Stanbic Bank Uganda. He boasts of a career in banking spanning over 28 years during which he served as Country Head and Managing Director for Stanbic Bank in Kenya, Standard Bank Malawi and most recently Stanbic Bank in Uganda.
