Airtel Opens Fully-fledged Customer Service Shop in Kakamega

In its quest to consistently offer quality customer service experience, Airtel Kenya has today opened a new shop located at the Mega Mall in Kakamega town. This is part of the company’s commitment to deliver best service experience and make its mobile solutions closer to its consumers.
The official inauguration ceremony of the shop was graced by Kakamega County Minister of Water, Environment, Natural Resources and Forestry Hon. Robert Sumbi who was representing the County Governor H.E. Hon. Wycliffe Oparanya who commended Airtel for bringing its services closer to the people of the Kakamega.
“Apart from solving customer queries, I believe that this new customer service shop will also cater for innovative mobile solutions and devices which our people require from your company. I believe the move will yield positive results in the manner of doing business and improving the lives of thousands of our people,” said Hon. Robert Sumbi.
On his part, Airtel Kenya CEO Adil El Youssefi noted that, just like devolution in the system of governance, Airtel is committed to bringing mobile money, data and voice solutions closer to the people in order to increase customer satisfaction through convenience and ease of reach of the customer.

“It has been our endeavor to enhance the customer experience for all our customers accross the country. Through this new customer service shop, we have an opportunity to give our customers the overall retail experience that Airtel has to offer. The launch of more shops around the country is a significant achievement for us and underlines the importance of engaging with our consumers on a daily basis,” said Adil.
The new customer service shop is a fully fledged service centre providing all Airtel products and services. Customers will be able to carry out SIM-card replacements, Airtel Money transactions, devices and airtime purchases, Airtel data services and signing of post-paid contracts signup and bill payments. The new shop will create a retail environment that’s entirely focused on the ultimate customer experience and give people from Kakamega County an opportunity to explore the company’s entire range of products and services.
This is one of the many shops that the company has opened in the country. Since the beginning of the year, Airtel has been actively growing its presence across the country and has opened six additional new outlets in Nyeri, Kisumu, Nyali, Eldoret, and Greenspan Mall in Donholm and Thika Road Mall (TRM). The company is also working with its key distributors to modernize their Airtel branded outlets and increase convenience of access to service for its customers countrywide.
All Airtel shops open from 8am to 6pm From Monday to Saturday, whilst those found in malls are opened on 8 am to 7pm– 8pm fromMonday to Saturday and from 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
