National Transport and Safety Authority Notice

The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has issued a public notice to all motorists as well as the general public that is in pursuant to Section 42(3) of the Traffic Act, Cap 403, Laws of Kenya, bringing to their attention that the following areas have been marked within the boundaries of Nairobi metropolis where the speed limit is set at 50 kph.

On Mombasa Road, the limit starts at City Cabanas Flyover, on Lang’ata Road, the limit starts at the KWS gate, on Ngong’ Road, the rule applies from Nakumatt Junction, on Naivasha Road, the limit begins from Nakumatt Junction to Uthiru turn-off, on Waiyaki Way, the limit begins at James Gichuru road, on Peponi road, the limit starts to apply at Mobil Petrol Station, on Limuru Road, the rule applies from the Mini market, Muthaiga, on Nothern Bypass, it starts at Nyayo Barracks roundabout, on Kiambu Road it starts at Ridgeways, on Kangundo Road, the rule starts at Ruai Market and lastly, on Thika Road, the rule applies from Utalii Drift.

All motorists are advised to adhere to this rule accordingly.
