TPG Growth Appoints Yemi Lalude as Managing Partner

TPG, one of the world’s largest private equity firms has appointed Yemi Lalude, as a managing partner for TPG Africa. He joins TPG from Adlevo capital where he was the founder and managing partner since 2008.Mr.Lalude holds a MBA from Harvard Graduate School of business.

Yemi will be in charge of TPG Growth investment in African, coordinated through TPG/SATYA. The two went in to partnership in June of this year.

With Yemi and the TPG/Satya team, we have the expertise needed to help build Africa’s best businesses,” said Bill McGlashan, Founder and Managing Partner of TPG Growth.

Before the Adlevo Capital, Mr. Yemi was a principal at GGV Capital, a leading Silicon Valley based expansion stage technology venture capital firm, where he led investment across three funds, and He also held engineering, business development and product management positions at Hewlett Packard and Siebel Systems.
