Car & General has introduced the new Fēnix 3, a fully-fledged smartwatch and fitness tracker to Kenyan health and fitness market, adding to its current line of Garmin fitness gadgets.

The new Fēnix 3 watch supports sporting activities like trail running, advanced fitness training, triathlon, cycling, skiing and hiking and more. Along with GPS and GLONASS, the watch has advanced features like recovery time calculation, VO2 max and swimming stroke count.

The Fenix 3 supports basic notifications from iPhone or Android on-screen. It also offers an altimeter, barometer, compass VO2 Max tracking and waypoints, allowing hikers and runners to navigate a predetermined route.

“When it comes to sports tracking, things don’t get more action packed than the Garmin Fenix 3. Designed for the person who’s not content with a little weekend jogging, it’s capable of tracking trail running, skiing, open water swimming and even gym work to name a few. In short, the Fenix 3 is Action Man’s wrist-based companion. It’s a device that combines a wealth of fitness and activity features into a slick looking smartwatch-esque design,” said Car and General Chief Operating Officer David Chesoni.

Fēnix 3 is available in Sapphire Edition, Grey and Silver and is retailing for Kshs. 53,000. The smartwatch is available in all Car and General Outlets across the country.
