Top Gainers, Losers and Movers of the Day at the NSE

Express Limited was the top gainer of the day at the close of today’s trading session. Express Limited posted shares at a price of 4.95 shillings per share and posted a total positive deviation of 10.00 percent.

Sasini Tea and Coffee Limited came in second with a positive deviation of 9.97 percent at a price of 18.75 shillings per share.

For the fourth day running, Home Africa Limited has maintained the top loser position by posting a negative deviation of 9.76 percent at a price of 1.85 shillings per share.

Standard Group Limited which had been out of the top losers for some time is now back trading close to Home Africa Limited with a negative deviation of 8.13 percent at the price of 28.25 shillings per share.

Equity Group Holdings Limited has replaced Safaricom as the top mover of the day. In today’s trading session, Equity had a total volume of 2.79 million and a total market capital of 147.17 billion.

Kenya Commercial Bank Limited came in second as the top mover with a volume of 2.07 million and a market capital of 127.05 billion.

Other movers of the day were Safaricom Limited with a volume of 1.55 million and a market capital of 663.08 billion, Mumias Sugar Company with a volume of 524,000 and market capital of 2.60 billion and Trans-Century Limited with a volume of 351,500 and a market capital of 2.38 billion.
