Cytonn Entrepreneurs Forum

Entrepreneurship is the process of designing, launching and running a new business such as a startup company offering a product, process or service.

The term has often been defined as the “…capacity and willingness to develop, organize and manage a business venture along with any of its risks in order to make a profit”.

Entrepreneurship, as well as small businesses remains the core engine of growth in a diverse and growing economy, hence one of the biggest determinants in job creation and uplifting the standards of living.

Small businesses in Kenya for instance have been credited for employing over 80 percent of the workforce in Kenya.

Cytonn Entrepreneurs Forum is an initiative of the Cytonn Foundation, which focuses on developing entrepreneurship as one of its causes.

Cytonn Foundation hopes that the Cytonn Entrepreneurs Forum, will contribute to developing and assisting more entrepreneurs. The forum is set to take place on Thursday 25th February, 2016 from 6:00am to 8:30pm at Sarova Stanley Hotel along Kimathi Street in Nairobi.

The theme for the February forum is “Starting and Thriving”. This forum will bring together a panel of distinguished entrepreneurs with the goal of sharing their perspectives on what it takes to start and grow a business.
