Umeme Takes the Day at the NSE

Things flipped at the Nairobi Securities Exchange today as yesterday’s top loser Umeme emerged the top gainer today with a positive deviation of 8.33 percent at a price of 19.50 shillings per share.

Olympia Capital Holdings Limited came in as the second gainer of the day with a percentage gain of 7.32 at a price of 4.40 shillings per share.

Liberty Kenya Holdings Limited was the third gainer of the day with a 4.63 percentage gain at a price of 16.95 shillings per share.

Uchumi Supermarket Limited and TPS Eastern Africa Limited got an increase of 4.29 and 4.00 percent respectively at 7.30 and 53.00 shillings per share.

Flame Tree Group Holdings Limited and Standard Group Limited were the top losers of the day by posting a negative deviation of 10.00 percent each at a price of 6.30 and 27.00 shillings per share respectively.

Kapchorua Tea Company posted a negative deviation of 9.68 percent at a price of 112.00 shillings per share while Carbacid Investment Limited posted a 9.46 percentage loss at a price of 13.40 shillings per share and lastly, Pan Africa Insurance Holdings Limited posted a negative deviation of 8.62 percent at a price of 53.00 shillings per share.
