These Were the Top Performing Stocks at the NSE Today

Williamson Tea Kenya Limited was the top gainer of the day. The company posted a positive deviation of 9.34 percent at a price of 199.00 shillings per share. Berg came in second with a gain of 8.62 percent at a price of 63.00 shillings per share while Standard Group Limited was third with a gain of 7.02 percent at a price of 30.50 shillings per share.

Mumias Sugar Company Limited and Home Africa Limited posted 6.67 and 5.41 percent respectively as shown in the pie-chart below:

Express Limited was not lucky today as it leads the top losers pack with 9.57 percent at a price of 4.25 shillings per share followed by Uchumi Supermarket Limited which had a negative deviation of 8.59 percent at a price of 5.85 shillings per share.

Other losers were Unga Group Limited, ARM Cement Limited and NIC Bank Limited which had 6.58, 6.06 and 3.61 percent respectively as shown in the pie-chart below;

The table below shows the most traded in shares led by Safaricom Limited which posted a volume of 13.54 million and a market capital of 665.05 billion.
