Magical Kenya Exhibitors Night Out at Tune Hotel Nairobi

Tune Hotel-Nairobi, Westlands recently hosted a night out for the Magical Kenya Travel Expo (MKTE) exhibitors drawn from various tourism institutions from all over the world.

The guests experienced a night of Kenyan Jazz from the Movement Band and a taste of Kenya at the Sky Bar from the Africa Dance Band who rocked the crowd with their ethnic drumming prowess. 

The Sky bar which was recently launched is a partnership between Tune Hotel and EABL which has created the highest bar in Nairobi, on the 11th floor of the hotel giving Nairobi revellers something to quench their thirst when they are from work.

It is an ideal place to chill and enjoy not only fantastic views across the city but also great entertainment, food and beverage. The Magical Kenya Tourism Expo guests danced the night away to mixes from the House DJ Ezekielli.

The Magical Kenya Travel Expo (MKTE) is an annual event organized by the Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) to bring together, travel agents, tour operators and hoteliers in a central place to conduct tourism business.

 During the Expo period Kenyan Olympians renowned Marathoners, hosted by Tune Hotel, including Gold medalists Jemima Sumgong, Helah Kiprop Florence Kiplagat and Abel Kirui gave the Expo guests a taste of Kenya athletics through trainings held daily in the morning.

 It is a unique opportunity for the tourism business operators to meet their clients, network, discuss business and sign contracts.

Tourism in the country which had been slightly affected by the constant terrorist attacks is now coming back on track with it expected to boom as the festive season nears. Kenya Tourim Board has been encouraging Kenyans to embrace local tourism while urging local hotels at the coast to regulate their prices in order to attract more local tourists.
