Mumias Sugar Company Tops the NSE on Thursday

Mumias Sugar Company emerged as the top gainer of the day at the NSE on Thursday. The miller gained 8.33 percent at the price of 1.30 shillings per share followed by Sasini Tea and Coffee with a gain of 6.67 percent at the price of 20.00 shillings per share.

Uchumi Supermarket came in third with 6.56 percent at the price of 3.25 shillings per share. KenolKobil and Eveready East Africa gained 6.23 and 5.88 percent respectively at the price of 14.50 and 2.70 shillings per share respectively.

Carbacid Investments was the top loser of the day. The company lost 9.35 percent at the price of 12.60 shillings per share.

Fahari Income-REIT and TPS Eastern Africa (Serena) lost 7.07 and 4.39 percent respectively at the price of 13.15 and 18.50 shillings per share respectively.

Olympia Capital and Equity Group closed the top five losers of the day on Thursday with 3.23 and 2.38 percent respectively at the price of 3.00 and 30.75 shillings per share respectively.
