Mumias Sugar Company Emerges Top at the NSE on Thursday

Mumias Sugar Company was the top gainer of the day at the NSE. The company gained 7.69 percent at the price of 1.40 shillings per share followed by Sameer Africa with a gain of 7.14 percent at the price of 3.00 shillings per share.

E.A Cables came in third with 4.92 percent at the price of 6.40 shillings per share. Sasini Tea and Coffee and Home Afrika gained 4.76 and 4.17 percent respectively at the price of 19.80 and 1.25 shillings per share respectively.

Fahari Income-REIT was the top loser of the day. The company lost 3.85 percent at the price of 12.50 shillings per share.

East African Breweries and Uchumi Supermarket lost 3.23 and 3.17 percent respectively at the price of 240.00 and 3.05 shillings per share respectively.

Eveready East Africa and Longhorn Kenya closed the top five losers of the day on Thursday with 2.04 and 1.98 percent respectively at the price of 2.40 and 4.95 shillings per share respectively.
