Tuskys Supermarket Extends Shopping Hours This Festive Season

BY Juma · December 17, 2016 09:12 am

They say that Christmas comes but once every year. The 2016 Christmas is here with us and there is pomp and color everywhere. Kenyans are busy, running up and down with some planning to travel upcountry.

During this festive season, Kenyans often do what they love best; shopping. It is a common thing to see long and winding queues in various shopping malls as Kenyans strive to outdo each other in shopping. Traffic jams are also common with most of them leading to shopping malls for people to make sure that their families are well catered for during the festive season.

Despite the fact that Kenyans love doing shopping, they hate long queues. Kenyans are said to be ‘impatient’ whenever it comes to issues to do with queues. To most of them, they will rather go home without any shopping than standing on a long queue waiting to shop.

The ‘impatient’ nature of Kenyans during shopping especially this festive season led to the concept of a 24-hour economy where people were to do businesses and shop for 24 hours. That concept is yet to take effect in most parts of the country, Nairobi included.

Many shoppers, especially those who fear long queues and those who dread long traffic jams, have been praying of a shopping mall that would at least extent shopping hours if not till morning to enable them shop comfortably and conveniently.

It is in the spirit of making sure that shoppers enjoy all the comfort while shopping that Tuskys Supermarket has extended its operation hours to as late as 11 PM. The branches include TMall, Imara, Bandari, United, Chania, Juja, Eastlands, Greenspan, Midtown, OTC, Embakasi and Shiloah.
