President Kenyatta opens Park Inn by Radisson Nairobi Westlands

President Uhuru Kenyatta yesterday officially opened Park Inn by Radisson Nairobi, Westlands, the first property of the colorful and dynamic midscale hotel brand in Nairobi. It is marked The Rezidor Hotel Group’s third hotel in East Africa and their 36thin Africa.
Area Vice President of Africa & Indian Ocean for The Rezidor Hotel Group, Andrew Mclachlan said, “Nairobi, Kenya’s capital city, has risen to become a thriving modern capital and one that is regarded as the commercial center of eastern Africa, and therefore the perfect location for our Park Inn by Radisson brand,” he said. “We are very pleased to grow the Park Inn brand footprint in Kenya. Our brand focuses on convenient locations, in this case, along with a highway, making it a convenient hotel for travelers going outside Nairobi using the Westlands route”, Mclachlan added.
The hotel has five spacious meeting rooms as well as an event terrace. The amenities within and the innovative and high on technology meeting spaces, place it at the forefront of meetings and events. The hotel also features a fully-equipped gym and high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the hotel.
The hotel’s all-day dining Live-Inn Restaurant provides a fresh, lively, cozy and welcoming experience to relish multicultural cuisine, incorporating the brand’s international flair with a unique African twist. The hotel also offers themed nights, sumptuous live show barbecues and refreshing signature cocktails as guests take in the mesmerizing panoramic views of the city below in The Attic Rooftop Bar.
At the 2016 Africa Property Awards, Park Inn by Radisson Nairobi Westlands won the Best New Hotel Construction and Design for its iconic tablet shape and continuous to intrigue the public with its unique design.

Rezidor’s Africa & Indian Ocean portfolio now features 16,600+ rooms in operation and under development, with an additional two hotels scheduled to open in East Africa within the next quarter.
