Kenya’s electoral commission has instructed all their Returning officers to submit the Forms 34B by tomorrow (Friday) noon.

“We shall validate them and we shall tell Kenyans who their next president is, but we must get all the forms and do the validation for everyone’s comfort,” said Wafula Chebukati.

The commission further said by Thursday 2pm, they had 117 constituency tally forms 34B and only 1032 of the 40,883 polling stations had not transmitted forms 34As.

Ezra Chiloba, the CEO disclosed that they are analysing why there are 397,610 rejected votes among the 14.8 votes cast.

Election observer missions in their briefings also noted the anomaly and urged the IEBC to conduct voter education to minimise that.
