ARM Cement Displaces Umeme To Emerge as Top Gainer on Thursday

ARM Cement emerged as the top gainer on Thursday with 9.91 percent at the price of 12.75 shillings per share followed by Williamson Tea Kenya with 7.56 percent at the price of 185.00 shillings.

Deacons (East Africa), Flame Tree Group and Kenya Airways gained 5.00, 2.97 and 2.17 percent respectively at the price of 4.20, 5.20 and 4.70 shillings per share respectively.

Among those who lost on Thursday, East African Cement led the pack with 9.57 percent at the price of 26.00 shillings per share followed by East African Cables with 9.26 percent at the price of 4.90 shillings per share.

On the top movers shelve, Safaricom Limited the day by posting a total volume of 4.73 million with a market capital of 1.02 trillion. The table below shows top five movers at the NSE on Thursday:
