The trade in gold is and continues to be a profitable yet treacherous and valuable business.

The following tables shows the latest gold price in Kenya calculated in Kenyan Shilling (KES) and updated regularly.

The prices are sometimes updated more frequently at times of strong price moves based on live spot gold price (Bid Price). The last update was on Monday 18th December 2017, 09:48 am (GMT) or Monday 18th December 2017, 12:48 pm according to the local time of Nairobi.

Gold prices are calculated both per ounce, gram, kilogram and tola and for the most common karats.
