Did You Know: Akuku Danger had more than 200 Children?

The story of Akuku Danger hit the headlines of the Kenyan mainstream media towards the end of 2010. The story was like that of a fiction legend, only told in tales to small kids to either soothe them to sleep or scare them from venturing into certain activities.

At the time of his death, Akuku Danger is said to have left behind a total of 210 children. His real name was Asentus Ogwella Akuku, but his peers baptized him “Danger” because of his magic to attract women.

With 130 wives and more than 200 children, this man must be placed in the Guinness World Records book. He was, indeed, the grand master of seduction who dressed, walked and danced to attract ‘flowers’ on his way. By the time the man was 22 years, he had married five women. This was actually a ‘Danger’. How he ‘served’ his 130 wives, only he knows, unfortunately, he went with that secret to his grave.
