Commercial Bank’s Average Exchange Rates for Major Currencies on Thursday

The Kenyan shilling remained resilient against global major currencies on Thursday according to the indicative rates from the Central Bank of Kenya.

On Thursday, the US Dollar was bought at 101.1867 shillings and sold at 101.3867 shillings across banks with a mean of 101.2867 shillings.

The Sterling Pound was sold at 141.5794 shillings after being purchased at 141.2689 shillings with a mean of 141.0631 shillings.

The Euro was bought at 124.9272 shillings and sold at 125.1989 shillings with a mean of 125.0631 shillings.

Closer home, the Kenyan shilling was bought at 36.0402 Ugandan Shillings and sold at 36.2103 Ugandan shillings.

22.2021 Tanzanian shillings were enough to give one a Kenyan shilling and sell it at 22.3448.
