Commercial Bank’s Average Exchange Rates for Major Currencies as at 5th March 2018

Commercial Banks in Kenya were on Monday buying the US Dollar at an average of 101.229 shillings and selling it at 101.423 shillings with a mean across all commercial banks standing at 101.326 shillings to the dollar.

Banks were buying the Sterling Pound at 139.7706 shillings and selling it at 140.0678 shillings with a mean of 139.9192 shillings across all banks.

Banks were selling the Euro at 124.9039 shillings after buying it at 124.6378 shillings.

Closer home, the shilling was being bought at 35.9580 Ugandan shillings and sold at 36.1259 Ugandan shillings while 22.1743 Tanzanian shillings were enough to buy a Kenyan shillings and 22.3156 while selling.
